Collection: The Mask Collection

UNVEILED, VULNERABILITY

What’s concealed/what’s revealed.
I have a hidden face, hidden hurt, hidden pain hidden shame.
On my way out the door
this mask I wear keeps me from facing all that stuff that I store.
It’s falsely protecting, falsely guarding the real me underneath.
Hiding the scars and covering the pain
from ever seeing the light of day again.
I want to forget these things that I pretend aren’t even apart of me.
The mask I wear tells me the lies I want to hear;
it’s got everyone fooled they have no idea what’s underneath.
But healing starts when I uncover what’s never been discovered.
Take the mask off and truly allow yourself to heal—allow yourself to be revealed. Freedom begins when you can see what’s underneath.
Don’t let the mask you wear keep you from believing the truth.

Corinthians 12:9-10 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
